Meeting with UO President
For years CSTDAC organized bi-annual meetings with the UO President and Administrators to meet with classified staff and have the opportunity to discuss current issues and the direction of the UO. The effort and cost of coordinating these meetings has been difficult for CSTDAC to maintain. Also, these meetings have become unproductive and not well attended. Last year (2015) CSTDAC made the decision to focus on holding only one meeting with the President each fall, and to change the format to include a training component for staff that attended. Last year’s Meeting with the President was a huge success with approximately 140 staff attending compared to previous meeting which saw 50-70 participants. That success may have partly been due to the greater interest in meeting our new president Michael Schill, but we also feel the interest in training brought people out.

- Lunch (TBD, 30 minutes for serving and settling in)
- Presentation from Administration (topic and speaker(s) TBD; 15 minutes; anticipating updates on reorganization, HR on-boarding process, and report on training improvements for staff)
- Presentation from President Michael Schill (topic(s) TBD; 20 minutes; anticipating updates on new 4 year graduation initiatives and other broader changes at UO)
- Training Component (Content and duration TBD)
